The company, founded in the 1950s by Tersilia Minazzi and Franco Zanoletti, was at the beginning of its history a small workshop where Drawing Dies in Tungsten Carbide were produced and their regeneration was carried out.
In the early sixties, the founders felt the need to expand the production, starting from raw materials (tungsten and cobalt carbide powders) until the sintering of the products.
In 1964 ZAMI was born. In a short time, the company, initially present on the domestic market, became known also in foreign markets.
Today, ZAMI, faithful to the spirit of its founders, continues to provide top quality products, both standard and at customer’s drawing, for the different types of machining, finding solutions to meet the demands of its customers, from small artisan to large industries.
Tungsten carbide is used in many fields from mechanical to textiles, from wood to stone, from aeronautics to aerospace, and in recent years also in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food sectors.
The satisfaction of our customers, those of today and those of tomorrow, is the way that drives us every day to pursue our mission: to create high quality products following a method of work focused on availability, punctuality, competitiveness, experience of over 60 years … looking to the future!
